International Day of the Disappeared

Yesterday was the International Day of the Disappeared (30 August), and the UK Government has still failed to sign a United Nations Convention that could bring justice to thousands of people across the globe.  The UK Government is one of only two western European states not to have signed the treaty – the other is Switzerland.
